Northern State is an old mental institution, closed in the 1970’s. There was a dairy and all sorts of farm buildings remain, in various state of decay. Though I have visited many tomes I was never motivated to take pictures until today.

This morning arrived with about 5 inches of snow and I decided to take a walk at sunrise and see what things looked like.

Cold morning sunrise over fresh snow is always fun. The old ruins still have some color.
