Photographic Gift Ideas

Deciding what to give as a Christmas gift can be difficult. Finding that special item which will bring lasting happiness is a challenge.

Here are a few Photographic Gift Ideas.

Photographic prints of the grandeur of Washington State make wonderful gifts. An image of the Majestic North Cascades, or Skagit Valley is a sure bet to brighten someone’s day for months or years.

If you know anyone interested in learning photography or improving their skills with a camera then photo classes, private lessons or a Photo Tour are an awesome gift, one that may even change the course of someone’s life!

Canvas Wrapped Prints and Fine Art Prints are available here. You can scan through the galleries and order all sizes of wraps and prints.

The 2016 Washington State Scenic Calendar is available and makes a wonderful gift. We can ship for you anywhere in the world!

Greeting Cards are now available here, in packages of 18 or 30.

Active Photographic Gift Ideas include:

Photography Classes begin in January. I will be teaching classes in Burlington, Bellingham, Marysville, Anacortes and Friday Harbor. This link takes you to the Calendar, scroll along, find a location close by and then click the date for details.

If you would like to purchase Photo Lessons at one of these locations for a gift, email me and I will create a special gift certificate for you. Andyporterphotography@gmail.com

I also lead individual and small group Photo Tours. This is where we meet and head out to a particularly scenic location for image capture. There I will instruct and advise you on camera settings and compositional techniques to help you get stunning images of your own. There are several Photo Tours available: Night Sky Photo Tours (only available close to the new moon each month); Skagit Valley Tulip Photo Tours (available in March and April); North Cascades Hiking Photo Tours – Day hiking or overnight backpacking to scenic locations in the North Cascades for unique photo opportunities.

You can book photo tours for 2016 now by following the links above.

Being outdoors in Nature gives one space and freedom, the fresh air and bright colors renew ones purpose and soul. Spending time in the wilderness, even for half a day, lets you reset. The un-importances of life tend to fall away and your mind clears. It’s time to get outdoors and take some pictures!

I hope that my Photographic Gift Ideas are of use to you and that 2016 is a fantastically fun successful year.
