Experts from around the region are invited each season to speak at the Interpretive Center. For the 2018-2019 winter season, we had 15 guest speakers who gave special presentations covering a variety of subjects from wildlife biology, glaciology and climate change, native plants’ importance in the riparian zone, restoration efforts and importance on the Skagit, and forage fish sustainability in the Skagit watershed. We also hosted presentations by nature photographers and authors. Presentations occur Saturdays at 1pm with special events featured on select Sundays.
