Columbia Hills State Park

A field of vibrant yellow balsamroot covers a hillside. 

The flowers are densely packed, filling the foreground and mid-ground of the image. Green leaves are interspersed amongst the blossoms.

A weathered, dark wooden fence post and section of barbed wire fence are prominent in the mid-ground, partially obscuring the view of the field. 

Beyond the field, a landscape of rolling hills and the Columbia River is visible.
